"A Wounded Deer - leaps highest"
A Wounded Deer - leaps highest -
A Wounded Deer - leaps highest -
I've heard the Hunter tell -
'Tis but the Ecstasy of death -
And then the Brake is still!
~~~
The Smitten Rock that gushes!
The trampled Steel that springs!
A Cheek is always redder
Just where the Hectic stings!
~~~
Mirth is the Mail of Anguish
In which it Cautious Arm,
Lest anybody spy the blood
And "you're hurt" exclaim!

Sometimes street art is just what it is: doodles and vandalism. And sometimes it's just there and it makes sense. This "deer" isn't famous and there isn't a leading graffiti artist behind it. Still, I expect the “deer turned tree” to leap over fences and gates. It looks so restraint and yet it conveys an inexplicable energy and force.
Delicate yet powerful. Fragile yet unstoppable.
